Residential Treatment Program

Description:

Stonehenge Therapeutic Community offers a 4.5–6 months gender-specific residential treatment program for individuals with substance abuse issues.

Using a therapeutic community treatment model, this residential treatment program is divided into 3 phases:

  1. Orientation

During this orientation period, new residents will be paired with a supportive peer. Communication with family and friends will be prohibited during this 2 week period to allow for full integration into the program.
  2. Active Treatment

The length of the active treatment phase varies for each person because this residential program aims to care for the specific needs of each resident. In this phase, residents will participate in individual and group therapy, workforce therapy, leisure and learning activities, art therapy, life skills, emotions management as well as community trips.
  3. Re-Entry

The re-entry phase is designed for residents to rebuild connections and prepare themselves to transition back to their home community. Typically, this is a 4–6 week process.
